The NFPA reports “only 8% said their first thought on hearing a smoke alarm would be to get out!” That’s alarming! Yes, yes, pun intended. And although 71% of Americans have an escape plan in case of fire, only 47% of them have practiced it.

Cornerstone Appraisals & Restorations was one of the sponsors for a fun ‘Shiver’ Weekend which started Friday evening, March 14th with the Pre-plunge Party at The Yacht Club of Stone Harbor. This year’s two very worthwhile charities chosen to benefit from the proceeds: Friend in Need, and Family Promise of Cape May County.

On Saturday, November 9, 2013 runners took to the streets to show support to help rebuild the Jersey Shore as well as support for several other charities. Cornerstone Appraisal & Restoration Services took part in the event, sponsoring a water station where volunteers were on hand to pass water to the runners.
